Project Description
Bridge Structural Health Monitoring
Outside of United States
Geodaq is providing structural health monitoring services for several railroad overcrossing bridges at locations outside the United States.
- Each steel bridge span is instrumented with a network of Geodaq Model PRO5 modules to monitor stresses, displacements and temperature.
- PRO5 modules are installed at the top and bottom of the steel girders at multiple locations along each span providing bending and axial stress data as well as displacement profiles over the length of each span.
- Temperature of the steel girders are recorded at each measurement location for consideration of thermal effects on the results.
- Complete profiles of strain, displacement and temperature are presented in real-time via the password protected Geodaq’s WebSoft ® application.
